Grindal Worms

Grindal Worms make an excellent  food for older fry and small to medium-sized adult fish. These relatives of the earthworm and the whiteworm stay smaller and can survive warmer temperatures than the whiteworm. They reproduce quickly under favorable conditions. Click here for culturing instructions. They are supposedly fatty, so they should not be used as the sole food, but they are a great way to condition adults for breeding, to stimulate growth in fry, or as a treat. Your fish will love them!

I am not currently culturing grindal worms. I have switched to other live foods for the time being.
